01.27 - Heehee... my artist wubs me. Life is good.
The server still seems to be limping slightly after yesterday's crash.. for those of you who didn't head on over, the site was inaccessible for the better part of the day, which I suppose is a relaxing way to spend your first birthday. It took me a loooong ass time to get this update done, but half of that was loading and the other half was cleaning up some file placements. Nami showed me how to do lighting effects, so that first panel is me practicing. I have no idea what Remme is eating, but it's a tasty brown color. XD I somehow love the idea of a front line military ship having such a cute little cafeteria sign... |

01.26 - HAPPY ONE YEAR TO US!
so we've grown a lot. I bet you guys form the beginning know what I'm talking about and those of you who go back and read the first "official" seraphic comic see how its changes piece by piece here and there. and as a thank you for people that keep coming here I FINALLY made you all something. 
1024x1280 GASP what is this? a WALLPAPER! yes yes yes a wallpaper. I also need to find the other wallpaper and put that up. I HAD one with Keia on it and it magically disappeared. oh well. HERE is the image I used for the wallpaper of out one year happy anniversary. I didn't expect to really color the two as much as I did but I feel they both came out really well. so huzzah there will ALSO be an update on Tuesday. maybe the morning-ish ^_^ so look then. right now its time to get mushy corny! Thank you friends and also the readers I have gained thorough this "experience" you all drive me to keep this going cause I fear getting drawn and quartered by you all. its a loving motivation really. ^^;; I hope the good times keep on rolling here at seraphic and I hope that ALL of our readers the old the new and the yet to come enjoy what we have to offer her and also are inspired in their own way to make their dream happen. I wish you all the best. Thank you to all the people who helped me in the big and small ways; Dave, Vaz, Dark Lem, Star, Booj, Ace, Bill, April, Rika, Massive Potato, Scott "scallop", Kogs, Hawk and Ananath, and anyone and everyone else I forgot to mention cause I'm tired ;_; right. Seraphic is a project that means a lot to me. its me being able to produce something that people enjoy, granted it sometimes stressful but I want it to be the best that it can be so its "good" stress. and also I'm lucky to work with such an excellent writer of this story who pours a lot of work into every strip. I thank the muses every day for beating her so properly and it intimidates me cause I want her "vision" to be interpreted correctly by my hand. So I want you all to thank her! Thank you Rika for working so hard on Seraphic with/ for me. ~Nami |

01.20 - Sweet holy handgrenades.. we finished a chapter. I've gotta say, I'm impressed with ourselves. It took less than a year! XD Now we're in the swing of things, though, and if we can keep this going at at least one comic a week, then it should start to move quite nicely.
I hope to have a forum someday, because feedback on what people like about the characters and story could possibly help me write some more, and I imagine Nami loves to hear about her art and craft and goodness. Chapter two will begin hopefully next week, and is a shade lighter than the angst-ridden Teia POV that was chapter one. Other notes - next kiriban is 15,000 - keep an eye on our counter and if it's you, save screenshot and mail it at our heads. You'll get a surprise! Nami and I will be at Katsucon, February 13th through 15th. We will be cosplaying (details may come later). We hope to see you there!! |
